Frontenac

One of the oldest cold-hardy French-American hybrids. Berries are dark, blue-black when ripe. High acid fruit often off-set with sweetness. Low tannin juice, usually with a deep garnet color, aromas of cherry/black cherry, plus flavors of blackcurrant, plum and sometimes chocolate.
